RICHARDSON BAY REGIONAL AGENCY BOARD OF DIRECTORS APPOINT JIM LYNCH AS NEW CHAIR
Jack Ryan to be named Vice-Chair as part of regular leadership changes
Sausalito, CA—Jim Lynch has been voted in as the new Chair of the Richardson Bay Regional Agency’s Board of Directors and Jack Ryan has been named Vice-Chair, as part of the governing body’s biennial officer elections.
Lynch and Ryan were named to their new roles at the RBRA Board of Directors meeting on Thursday. Lynch will replace RBRA Board member Stephanie Moulton-Peters in the Chair position.
“I want to commend and thank former Chair Moulton-Peters for her superb leadership of the Board. And I look forward to continuing our Board’s efforts to lead discussions and find solutions to the critical issues facing Richardson Bay,” said Board Chair Lynch, who represents Belvedere. “From finding safe, secure housing for residents living on the water to funding important restoration work for our eelgrass ecosystem, we have another busy year in store.”
The RBRA Board of Directors is constituted of four members, including one representative appointed by the Marin County Board of Supervisors and three members elected by the City Councils of the three communities—Tiburon, Mill Valley and Belvedere—served by the agency. The Chair and Vice-Chair leadership roles are two-year terms.
“I’m excited to continue working on behalf of Richardson Bay,” said Vice-Chair Ryan, who represents Tiburon. “We have a passionate community and a wonderful staff here, and our job is make sure our policies and programs are implemented in a way that benefits everyone. We have a lot to do over the next two years. It should be an exciting time for the agency.”
